Portraiture is one of the key areas in Social Photography.

This is an area that almost defines what Social Photography is all about.

Portraiture is about people. This area needs photographers who are "good with People" and who really care about the concerns and worries that a client might have about having their photograph taken.

My style is very laid back, where time is not that important nor is it charged for on an hourly basis.

I feel to get the photograph that the client is happy with and proud of is far more important.

Clients and colleagues have often made comments as to how the sitters in my portraits look so relaxed and happy.

The key to success in portraiture in my opinion is to be aware that almost all people have "apparent" hangups about their appearance, and are often slow to tell you directly.
However, during the conversation when they start to feel relaxed they tell you know "what to look out for".

I consider the portrait so important that I offer a free Pre Wedding Portrait to all couples who book me for their weeding. In doing so it helps me get even better Bride and Groom portraits on their Big Day.
